Advocacy Day Local Visit image

We would love to have you in Washington, D.C. on May 5th, but understand if you cannot make it.  RESOLVE still needs your help and you can play a big role in advancing our agenda right in your home state. We are asking you to do the following if you cannot come to DC on May 5th:

1. Register for the “Advocacy Home Office Visits” by clicking here.

2. RESOLVE will contact you and help you schedule your visit in the District office of your Representative. Depending upon where you live, we may also be able to help you schedule an appointment in the home state office of your two U.S. Senators.

3. RESOLVE will host special training TeleSeminar for conducting the District Home Visits. Click here to register for the April 20th TeleSeminar that will provide you with the training and materials you need for your appointments.

Training Call for State/District Visits
Attendees: Anyone making a visit in their home state to their Representative or Senator
Hosts: Barb Collura, Theresa Strang, and Risa Levine
Wednesday, April 20, 2011
Time: 9:00-10:00 pm ET

4. You will be asked to visit the District office of your U.S. Representative during National Infertility Awareness Week® (April 25-29) or during the month of May. You will be delivering the same message as the RESOLVE Advocates will be delivering on May 5th in Washington, D.C.

5. If you have friends or family members that care about the same issues, please ask them to join you if they live in the same congressional district or home state.

  • You can also bring their letters of support with you to the meeting if they cannot attend in-person. We want the staff to understand this is a big issue and affects many people.
