RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association Recognizes Outstanding Contributions to the Family Building Community
(McLean, VA, August 23, 2011) – RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association is pleased to announce that Katie Schaber will be honored with the 2011 Hope Award for Best Blog for her blog from IF to when. Schaber will accept her award at RESOLVE’s Night of Hope Gala on September 13, 2011 at Guastavino’s in New York City. As the organization that supports and provides voice for people diagnosed with infertility, RESOLVE established the Hope Awards to recognize professionals, companies, volunteers and the media who have demonstrated innovation and compassion to benefit people struggling with infertility.
Schaber is 26 years old and lives in Orlando with her husband, Joey, and their dog, Danica. She was diagnosed with infertility in early 2009. After four IUI procedures and various medical issues, Katie and Joey chose to pursue domestic adoption in 2010. Katie launched her blog to document her path to motherhood. from IF to when serves as both an outlet for her emotions and a way for her to connect with others who are going through similar journeys.
